Nichole F.'s Biography
written by Nichole

I have lived in Westlake all my life and I think my daddy has too. We both went to Western Heights while in elementary school, which I think is kind of neat. I live with my dad, my sister Kaitlyn, my two brothers Ryan and Brandon. My oldest sister Maeghan has her own place which is cool because we get to go spend the night and do fun things like have a bon fire, make smores, and watch movies. We have a Yorkie named Chloe which is really my sister's dog, be we all think of her as our baby!
I love to sing, especially while my Aunt Ashley plays the piano. I can remember singing with her ever since I was a little girl. One of my favorite memories of our family is when all the grandkids would get around the piano at Christmas time, Aunt Ashley would play the piano and would all sing Christmas carols. My favorite artist is Brandon Heath, he is a Christian singer who sings Give Me Your Eyes.

Another of my favorite things to do is playing softball. I like it for several reasons like being part of a team which is fun. But mostly because it has taught me that is not all about winning it's about playing hard, having fun, and making memories with your friends.
When I grow up I would like to be a nurse for the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse). I would love to be  a nurse and I also love babies. I think that would be an awesome job. Taking care of those precious little babies when they need so much special care would be so rewarding and fun.
There are four things that are very important to me and are the reason I am who I am today.
The first one is that I am a Christian. My family and I are very active in our church and when I was seven years old I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I am more thankful now for everything and I see things differently. Before when I would do something wrong I would think what does it matter, but now I know what is wrong. Just knowing what I ask God to forgive me and He will is a good feeling.
The second thing or person is my dad! Most girls my age don't know how to talk their dads whenever they have a problem but I do! My dad always makes time for me whenever something is troubling me. We can talk for hours and it always ends with a Great Big Bear Hug! My dad's the best and I love him so much!
The third person is my Maw-Maw, or to me Maw-Maw Mommy was and is my role model. She taught me about Jesus, she taught me right from wrong, how to cook and sew, she also helped me with my homework. She would make it fun by doing all kinds of extra things to make it interesting. She taught me how to study which helps me make good grades. But most of all she taught my daddy and me how to give the best hugs ever! She was the best Maw-Maw anyone could ever have.
Last but not least is my Paw-Paw Jay; he is the man who holds my family together. Whenever my Maw-Maw Judy died it was very hard for me and my whole family but Paw-Paw began doing everything that my Maw-Maw did and more. He is not only there for me and my brothers and sisters but he is there for my dad too. We have a big family including aunts, uncles, cousins and Paw-Paw Jay is the heart of it all.
So you can say that I have a lot of awesome people that have influenced me to be the person I am today. I am proud of them and I am happy to be me!

  A Very Important Person
written by Nichole

My very important person is my Maw-Maw Judy. She inspired me to become a NICU nurse.
She had Lymphoma cancer. She never cared if she had cancer because she knew God would take care of her. She prayed that she would get better, but it only got worse. Five years went by with lots of friends and family hoping that a miracle would happen. But then she died. We were all very sad.
But that day I knew she had an impact on my life. She inspired me to become a nurse. She inspired me to become a NICU nurse (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse). The reason I want to be a nurse is so I can help those little babies get better so they can live.
I don't like it when people die especially little babies. My Maw-Maw Judy felt something special for me. A dream to become a life saver. It's a good feeling to know she is the one who inspired me to become a nurse. She always told me to never give up on my dreams and I never have.
That is why my Maw-Maw is my very important person!
